Need Help!!!
i’ve been using using backtrack 5
i trying to learn how my neighbors keep getting my wifi passkey
so i’ve downloaded backtrack 5
i’ve been following all th commands
root@bt:~#airmon-ng
root@bt:~# airmon-ng start wlan0
root@bt:~# airodump-ng mon0
airodump-ng mon0 –channel 11 –bssid xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx -w /tmp/wpa2

after this i can’t get the station mac
help plz

I think something worth mentioning about using JtR’s incremental mode is that, unless changed in params.h before compiling, the output will only be 8 characters or less (Minimum passphrase length for WPA is 8), then john.conf has to be edited to change the max length of the output.

Hey this is sanchit and i want to config my atheros wifi on backtrack 4 cos i m not getting result while typing
root@bt:~# airmon-ng
wifi0 Atheros madwifi-ng
ath0 Atheros madwifi-ng VAP (parent: wifi0)
ath1 Atheros madwifi-ng VAP (parent: wifi0)
wlan0 Ralink 2573 USB rt73usb – [phy0]

these are not shown in my cell
